God’s Protective Hands

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day” – Psalm 46:5 (NIV)

My beloved friends, we should always appreciate God’s power to sustain us, which is evident from the moment of conception within a woman’s sheltered womb. That power later transcends at birth, when His protective hand guides a mother to cradle that precious infant in her bosom with tender, loving care.

The love of God continues throughout our childhood as His presence encircles us like a shield. He would like no form of injustice to plague our innocence and provide a secure foundation of His love that will never be lost as we grow.

Therefore, as mothers, embrace the understanding that as you make the Lord your Shepherd or personal Saviour, you have the promise of receiving the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, Who will not only lead you into all truth (John 16:13) but also ensure your steps are always ordered despite the trials and life’s obstacles (Psalm 37:23)

Remember that God’s protective hands are ever close. Reach out and take it today; He’s willing and able to protect you and those He places in our care.
